HE IS RISEN!
INDEED HE IS RISEN!
Regina Caeli laetare, alleluia!
Quia quem meruisti portare, alleluia!
Resurrexit, sicut dixit, alleluia!
Ora pro nobis Deum, alleluia!
Please know that that you all are in my intentions at my Easter mass especially those who helped this project get off of the ground (notably Dawn Eden and Saint Kansas & Co.) those who read it and keep me inspired, especially you early ones who have been here over the months (Adoro, Rob, Uncle Jim and yes, even Sattvicwarrior) those who considered these meandering thoughts worthy enough to be made known on your blogs, those who supply technical support when I am lost, especially R.B. who, as a surprise has set the ground work for an Adam's Ale domain (whatever that is) which should be coming soon, and you contributors, especially Fr. O. and Habemus Papem. Gods blessing be on all of you!
SUNDAY VIDEO ON TAP
H.B. Sent along this video that might be nice to have playing in the background as you pray today.
In other news:
Here is Bishop Lennon's Easter message.
And just to wrap things up on a happy note, our new alter boys are beginning to serve mass. I thought this was a great picture of one of our novice servers with Fr. W. this past week.

It probably goes without saying, but I suspect most of us would say you are in our intentions, too.
Just an hour ago I got back from Easter vigil Mass ... gotta be the knock-out punch of the year - every year. Hope yours was as rewarding.
I pray the grace of Easter overpowers all of us [especially those you mentioned by name].
Our Con-celebrants were assisted by a couple of young men of the parish who are currently in the seminary - it sure is refreshing. We currently have 5 preparing - go back just a couple of years and we probably didn't had five all together in the previous ten years.
God is working as hard as ever and today's young men seem to be listening a little better. Ad majorem Dei gloriam! Et Dominus vobiscum.
Happy Easter! And know you are in my prayers.
Happy Easter, Father, Indeed He is RISEN! :-)
Thank you for your prayers, and you are in mine as well.
Christ the Lord is Risen today!
Alleluia!
Is that wonderful window in your church?
Uncle Jim - a couple of guys! Wow - I'm jealous.
Jeffrey - Yes, that is a window from Saint Clare - and actually just a small panel from a much larger window of the Good Shepherd. The windows were made by a local artist who was actually the first African American to make a name for himself in the industry. His main three windows are really quite nice.
You ought to post pictures of more of them. This one's very good.
