TUESDAY QUOTE OF THE WEEK CCCXVI

FINDING TRUTH WHEREVER IT CAN BE FOUND:  "He has the real disadvantage which has arisen out of the modern worship of progress and novelty; and he thinks anything odd and new must be an advance."  from G. K. Chesterton's, "The Club of Queer Trades

QUOTE II:  "So long as you progress fast enough it seems a matter of indifference to him whether you are progressing to the stars or the devil."  same source

IN OTHER NEWS:

Fr. Kaz sent this in to hear the Mass of the Immaculate Conception.  Wow!

I like this dog's Halloween costume!

I don't know if others will have this problem, but your link for the Mass just took me to the SoundCloud homepage. I did a little searching and was able to find this alternate page of the Mass of the Immaculate Conception which worked for me.

It's heartening to see modern composers like the National Shrine's Peter Latrona who are able to create arrangements that have a sense of the sacred and the beautiful.

So when can we pray with this Mass arrangement at St. Sebastian?

OK, now that I have stopped crying, I must say that the video "Brave" makes if very hard for me to complain and feel sorry for myself and my little tiny problems.

I work very hard everyday telling everyone how much I suffer and the "Brave" video makes me horribly ashamed.

Happy & Grateful
