<This is a great puzzlement to me.
HOW can the omnipresent non dual consciousness which is indivisible[ as taught by the sadistic nuns that rammed the “ Baltimore catechism “ down my throat when I was younger ] use mere “ words” to convey this process of the expansion [ birth ] of the universe??
a.k.a “ let there be light”
There was NO words.
its impossible as it would be beneath the omnipresence to utter sound in the form of language as that “ vibration “ is with out duality.
and that would be BENEATH the omnipresence of indivisibility
it was a SOUND, created by the indivisible consciousness when in CONTACT with the forces of attraction and repulsion which created this division and which later gave BIRTH to variables, which gave birth to language..
God had NOTHING to do with it.
Man had EVERYTHING to cognicize it to confirm his existence. because of his lack of the ability to merge with the divine and created this point if reference as a form of TRUTH because of his ignorant state .
SO this is TRUTH ??
so this is GOD because Man said so?
THEN documents it in a book called the BIBLE??
has this been contrived as “ divine inspiration??
did the book of genesis suffer from misinterpretation over the last 10,000 years for the connivance of the ignorant minds of man ? to confirm its OWN existence??
the bible [ taken from metaphors in Jewish folklores [ GENISIS] for analogies to create a better understanding through symbolism] is supposed to constitute TRUTH? and the actuality of BEING?.
[ presenting indivisible omnipresence as FORM to confirm the transitory state called REALITY?? ]
if one believes this . then its TRUE what is said./
the BLIND lead the BLIND. BOTH fall into the PIT.
but the power of collective consciousness whether it reflects the TRUTH of the actuality of BEING actually NEGATES god consciousness..
its SUCH and INSULT to GOD
its SUCH a contrived vision of the actuality of BEING
its SUCH an illusion for the true concept of the ultimate illusion we call REALITY
and people actually BELEVE that nonsense??
“ LET THERE BE LIGHT”
poor god
he gets SUCH a BUM rap
WHY do you peeps demean him so??
and WHO cares about the other dudes
\ THEY ARE DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder how effective they would be if you KNEW they had a GOOD shot of tequila???
they drank “ honey wine” ewwwwwwwwwwww.
anyway.
God is the here and NOW
not the THEN from a bunch of dirty nomads running around a horrible part of the world called the “ desert” and out of desperation create fables and myths to make statements like “ let there be LIGHT”.
I would think if those idiots who said that . .in that unforgivable climate, might have been better off with
LET THERE BE FOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
[ it’s a LOT cooler and more conducive for spiritual development ]
dont take MY word for it..
[ check with the NEW YORK TIMES..
and tis NOT even 2000 years old .

The Lord said (somewhere along the way, and quite deliberately):

"Let there be Sattvic Warrior!"
And there was SVW. (We weren't there, but we believe there's a you and that it's no accident.)

Somewhere along the way, we have to believe someone. The Times? The government? Hawkins? The Muppets?

Jesus said, "If it were not so, I would've told you." Amen, so be it.

Uh, consider "Hawkins" my way of saying Dawkins and Hawking in one fell swoop.

dear Hush you say

SOMEONE??. thats the problem , the " someone’s" all have a differnt opinion. with GOD there is NO opinion . there is only GOD. and THAT is not a someone. that is "THAT"
[ya gotta LOVE aphorisms. ]
NOT to trust your TRUE connection with god which can only come from within is folly for sure, , it is from WITHIN that there is THAT which one seeks as the absolute. The key here is to WALK the PATH [ where "faith" is your shoes so to speak along this path of introspection]. not BECOME the PATH . when that happens one is walked over with ever changing dogma that has no meaning other than it will change again .ONE becomes nothing more than a cog in a gigantic mechanism of a ridiculous collective pseudo absolute. [ its called the EGO} and that has NOTHING to do with GOD. but EVERYTHING to do with MAN.[ all things associated with concepts precepts and notions. which is part of the thinking principle and subject to change. ]
that is NOT GOD. . but MAN. But DOnt take my word for it . find out for yourself. IT will be YOU that finds god. NOT the thinking principles of others who say what god is or isnt.

Prayer doesn't spread us thin, it increases our breadth and depth.

SVW, Jesus said to Thomas Didymus, "Come, put your fingers in the (nail) prints, put your hand in My side." Upon which Thomas said, "My Lord and my God!" To which Jesus said, "Blessed are those who do not see, but who believe."

Faith requires humility, because self-proclaiming is what sent Lucifer the lightbearer -- the angel of light! -- crashing down. Forever. The only antidote to pride is its utter reverse. That is what Peter found out, and then, people were healed simply by his shadow passing over them. It wasn't Peter who healed.

We are free to reject anything at all, as did some of Jesus' own followers who saw many miracles at His hands. "This saying is too hard for us!"

Faith is the key. Indeed, when the Lord breaks in and shores something up, fleshes it out in us, it's awesome, but He doesn't always do that, lest He encroach upon our free will, a true Gift.

What authority have I to determine God even for myself? None. As a matter of fact, I'm not even the same person I was 5 years ago, I am ever-changing, and I am turning to dust even as we speak. But the God-Man does not change, and He rose before many many eyes. 'Tho buried, He is not dust. One can only kick against the goad for so long, and so, I trust the authority that was placed in a vicar who passed that down, which has been going strong for over 2000 years.

I have often heard the phrase "rammed down my throat." We all have. Dude, it's true --some DID ram stuff down our throats or make us feel completely worthless, etc. Jesus didn't. You know that. Even we sheep keep our eyes on Him. As far as an antidote to anger over the past, we were commanded (by love, for love) to love one another as He loved us. It's the toughest thing for folks to follow through on, and many don't. So every day, it begins with us. Again. Why? Because I want to be with the One Who went to prepare a place for me..He is coming back. But I want that for others, too. So, it begins with me. And thee.

thats EXACTLY what i was saying. . the interjections of all the romantic sweeeping generalizations of what this or that" is, is totally lrrelevant.
