I take it you were unaware that you could have done all of your shopping online, huh?

Hilarious sketches, by the way.

Now Father, is that really in the Christmas Spirit? Besides, I bet he paid extra for expedited delivery.

Well, did Fr. Pfeiffer punch you back?!

Hilarious--but a great illustration of the "generation gap," Father.

I've always thought that the time and effort I spent looking for the gift was actually part of the gift. My recipients could have bought those items for themselves but I saved them the hassle. Buying on-line cuts down on one part of my gift!

As far as extra cost, it is minimal when one does a large amount of shopping on "Amazon.com" and has an "Amazon Prime" account. Also, there is money saved in gas, and time and frustration (occasions of sin?) are minimized. Something the pictures do not convey is the thinking that went into the gift (which did not start on Dec. 23, but long before) and there is still "looking" online (granted it is a different type of looking). The other advantage is sometimes one does not know what to get until the last minute (like myself). It is true that the time put into getting the gift is part of the gift, but is it a better gift if one travels across town to get it even when they could go across the street? Merry Christmas!

Sounds to me like Anon has a dog in this fight with the Luddite.
