I think these videos would make some of us think ... "What was that all about?" But, then again, many of the Catholics I've encountered don't think at all, so they wouldn't even try to figure them out. On the other hand, I know some who think too much - and God only knows what they would think from them.
ok look . i KNOW im not popular with you but I AM intrigued . . BUT. i have to tell you WHAT an insult to CHRIST consciousness those sweeping generalizations about Christianity was in the LINK . the ATTENDANCE blurb was STUPID.. and an INSULT to spirituality the CLOTHING? c'mon . if you’re a man of GOD and people trust your input you DON’T NEED RELIGIOUS DRAG!!!!!!!!!!! PASTORS??? the "SENIOR" PASTOR? huh??? maybe they should review the popes from the past worse than the dark ages icon you call a POPE NOW???? . like those in France in Avignon [ fro example] as inspiration when they elevated their own children to the post. most of the cardinals chosen during this time were French as were the popes and this gave the impression that the church was at the service of the king of France. The popes at this time surrounded themselves with luxury and thousands [ that's RIGHT THOUSANDS] of court attendants. [ thats really saying a LOT about CHRIST isnt it???] Just the upkeep alone for the palace and the parties required substantial taxation of the people and this gave the popes of Avignon a bad name.. BUT!!!!! BUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT!!!!!!!!!!!! how can that be? they are men of GOD!!!!!! GOD INVENTED THE TITHE? how much was that silly blond nerd in that opt PAID to say that ??? NOW REALLY.. that is the ULTIMATE insult. if people cant give from their own heart to the betterment of those less fortunate does it REALLY make a DIFF for a few coffee and donuts????? . and considering all the aboriginal tribes that were killed off by the church in plunder for its gold and wealth over the centuries for the GLORY OF GOD [ and the CHURCH of course] . I THINK the church could afford a FEW DONUTS!!!!!!!!!!.. its DONUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. your NOT returning the GOLD and the JEWELS that was stolen ., . your giving DONUTS sweetie. the church is NOT returning the WEALTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what am I MISSING HERE?? whew!!!!!!!!! All in all, what you have provided in your post is that there are very bad people who delude themselves, who happen to call themselves Christian - even so called important people who hate in the name of Jesus, kill in His name, steal in His name. The easiest way to hate is to hate for Jesus. But that in no way makes them Christian, Catholic, or good churchmen. It makes them wolves in sheep's clothing. That has no bearing on the message, the faith, or the Church that Christ gave us however.

i recognize the wrongs done, but i cannot live in them and therein choose to hate like them ... i prefer to be one with the creator and live in that beatific vision instead
