MONDAY DIARY: ALMOST EXCRUCIATINGLY TRUE STORIES: AND HOW TRUE IT IS.

I am of that unfortunate class of people born after 1964 - the post baby boom group.
And I don't mean that I'm just coming to the end of my 50th year.
Only a true native of the Cleveland area knows the tragedy of this.
It means I've been alive almost as long as possible without witnessing any professional championships.

Isn't it a fine day?! No other fans know what it feels like for us! At least the Chicago Cubs fans have da Bears.

And wasn't it nice to see LeBron celebrating Father's Day at the post-game MVP press conference, holding his little girl and surrounded by his boys?

It is a shame for the Warriors fans, but they haven't waited as long as we have.

It is a lesson to us Christians. We may have to wait a long time, but if we never stop hoping, God will reward us. It is a tiny taste of heaven today!

God bless all of you at St. Sebastian's!

I think you will be hearing that from a lot of us in the confessional in the coming day.
