I forgot to post that I am ON RETREAT this week and the TRINITY RETREAT HOUSE (recently reopened after being battered by hurricane Sandy.) Getting some new ideas for homilies and posts and so I hope to see you when I get back!

Here are some new stats regarding the number of priestly and religious vocations in the world! Overall, vocations are growing! But still we have fewer than half a million priests in the world serving over one billion Catholics!
