Right after grace, just mention some intentions and thank God for your blessings. It's not elaborate, but it helps me remember to pray during the week (rather than just saving it for Sunday). Two "Memorares" equal about one minute, the time to rest between sets of repetitions. I asked Fr. Pf about these prayers and he said they were indeed worthwhile. Such a person would be very rare, especially on an on-going basis. Sure, we all have a day now and then where we go straight from one thing to another, with a deadline to meet at every turn. But day in and day out too busy to pray? Is such a person also too busy to check their FB page? Too busy to catch an episode of their favorite TV show? etc, etc. It's really about priorities. But for those who really are busy people, there are three opportunities in every day where you have built-in prayer time: in the shower and in your commute to and from work. It's time well-spent. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5745814378416915364.post-88952887941758080202013-09-19T14:47:40.540-07:002013-09-19T14:47:40.540-07:00Blessed Mother Teresa is quoted as saying "If...Blessed Mother Teresa is quoted as saying "If you’re too busy to pray, you’re too busy."<br /><br />It's all a matter of priorities. Help me.". The "Lord, help me" prayers are my favorite kind! :-) Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
